Colossians 1:9-10
9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.
10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

There are those who know how to play an instrument, but then there are those who know how to produce not just sounds but moving music with that instrument. Accuracy in pitch, volume, meter, and tone are all required, and there will be no desired effect from a performance that has no regard for these things. However, the sounds that will truly touch the heart and yield more than well-placed waveforms are those that come from a knowledge of the music's intent, an inner understanding of its intended emotional response. This will not come from just a "how to" but from encounters with similar responses, where knowledge is a creative one that is driving the sounds from a vision in the heart formed by a relationship with its true purpose. Discovery of the heart and passion of those who have gone before and internalizing their vision will do more to effect a similar result than just reading the score of their music that shows the "where" and ''when."  Desire to produce and further develop that same experience will inspire devotion to remove all deviations from perfection so the sound's true intent will be unhindered. The greater the knowing of heart, the greater will come the ability to emulate sounds that come from it.

An encounter with God can wash over the soul with a very moving immersion in His heart and passion. It is from this knowing of Him, separated from the distractions of other sounds that emulation of that same heart can begin to yield sounds worthy of Him. Accuracy in many areas is necessary, but it is not just from scripture that this will come. Just knowing when, where, and how will only produce a contrived and confined life that doesn't look or sound anything like the Father's intent. It's only in time spent in His presence, internalizing His same nature, that sound will come that pleases our audience of one. The righteous fruit that serves His purpose will come from a life ensconced in His, driven with passion to produce what has been experienced there with Him.
